The Buttonwoods Museum has partnered with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to bring kids and families an afternoon of fun on the banks of the Merrimack River. Meet a real water scientist from the USGS and earn the art of keeping our river clean and safe. Come explore the Buttonwoods Museum’s Riverside trail along the Merrimack, and get a chance to try some of the methods the USGS uses to preserve the river!
