In The War Within (TWW) expansion there are a multitude of new consumables, gems and enchants you can use to empower your character, and with this expansion we will also see the return of weapon oils, and the introduction of AoE potion bombs.
We have gathered a list of all The War Within consumables, grouping them by their respective professions. This list is not a recommendation of which enchants and consumables you should use, but a list of what can be crafted or purchased from the Auction House.

There are a number of returning and new item enchantments in The War Within, we have split them into the respective professions that create them.

Enchanting
The table below outlines the range of Enchants available for Rings, Boots, Chest, Bracer, Cloak and Weapons. The War Within has enchants for the same item slots, but with new names and some new twists on the effects they provide.
Notably, there are new "Cursed" Ring enchants that provide a kiss-curse buff, increasing one stat whilst reducing another; the amount of the stat it provides is greater than if you were to enchant your ring with the flat "Radiant" stat enchant, at the cost of the stat it reduces.

You can apply these enchants to your Profession Tool to gain some very useful Profession specific stats.

Consumables
There are a number of consumables that have been swapped around, removed or re-introduced in The War Within, such as Flasks, Phials, Weapon oils.
One notable consumable that has followed on from previous expansions is the Crystallized Augment Rune, the first “Augment Rune” in The War Within. When used, it grants primary stat for 1 hour, but doesn’t persist through death.
Alchemy
Alchemists can craft a number of different consumables in The War Within, including battle potions, utility potions, healing potions, phials and we will also see the return of flasks in this expansion. There are also a number of PvP only flasks coming in The War Within.
Flasks
Flasks return in The War Within, returning after they were previously changed to Phials during Dragonflight. They are one of your primary consumables, granting a range of buffs for a limited amount of time (usually for 1 hour).

Phials
Unlike in Dragonflight, Phials are now only used to enhance your crafting abilities.

Potions
There are many potions in The War Within, some giving damage bonuses, and some utility potions that can give you different enhancements.

| Grotesque Vial | Whilst you are dead, you can use this potion to create an area on the ground around you that will heal allies |
| Draught of Shocking Revelations | Increase stealth detection and every second the light will attempt to smite a hidden enemy |
| Draught of Silent Footfalls | Grants invisibility for 18 seconds |
| Potion of the Reborn Cheetah | Increases movement speed for 20 seconds |
Cauldrons

Blacksmithing
Blacksmiths have the ability to craft enhancements to weapons, increasing their attack power temporarily, as well as an item that provides a temporary buff to profession tools.

Ironclaw Weightstone is used for blunt weapons such as maces and staves, whereas Ironclaw Whetstone is used for bladed weapons including swords, daggers, axes, polearms and fist weapons.
Enchanting
In The War Within, enchanters will now have the ability to craft Weapon Oils, which were previously crafted by Alchemy in the Shadowlands expansion.

Engineering
The War Within brings with it some new items for engineers to craft that allow players to enhance their allies in combat, at the sacrifice of their own personal battle potion.

Gems
Most of the Gems in The War Within (TWW) are very similar to how you would expect them to be. There are Gems that give Primary Stat (Strength, Intellect and Agility) and Secondary Stat gems that can either be a singular secondary stat or a combination of 2 secondary stats, with one of the stats being weighted higher.
The variety of primary and secondary stat gems are broken down into tables for each of the respective base gem types.
Algari Diamond
Algari Diamond is the name of the unique equip gem that grants players primary stat, meaning you can only have 1 of these gems socketed at the same time.
Blasphemite
These gems are primary stat gems, granting Intellect, Strength and Agility, some of which have additional bonus effects.

Gem Sockets
Jewelcrafters in The War Within can create an item called Magnificent Jeweler's Setting, allowing you to add up to 2 sockets to your rings and necks. These cannot be used on PvP gear.
There is a PvP specific item to add sockets to your PvP gear, Vicious Jeweler's Setting, and it can be applied to helms, necks, bracers, belts and rings.
