Can Muslims eat Jack Links? ›

For products sold in the United States and Canada, the products are not certified Halal or Kosher. Outside the United States and Canada, the best way to find if a Jack Link's product is Halal or Kosher is to check the back of the package. WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS PACKAGED?

The best-by date on the package indicates the window of peak freshness. As long as it has been stored properly, unopened jerky is safe to consume after the best-by date. But it won't taste as good as fresh jerky. As a general rule of thumb, commercial beef jerky is best enjoyed within 1 year.

Jack Link's does not provide donations for for-profit organizations. In order to be eligible for a sponsorship, you must submit the request at least 90 days prior to the event. Jack Link's does not sponsor individuals. Jack Link's no longer offers cash for donations or sponsorships.

DO YOUR PRODUCTS HAVE TO BE REFRIGERATED OR FROZEN? If the package has not been opened, Jack Link's^® products will remain fresh without refrigeration. Once the package has been opened, be sure to refrigerate or eat within 3 days.

Beef Jerky: These products do not contain pork, they are made with 100% beef. Meat Sticks: These products contain a blend of beef and pork. The casing used is a beef collagen casing.

Jack Link's Jerky is made from a natural product (Beef). This comes from a number of sources and types of cow or bull meat. Each cut of beef is different and this can cause a piece of beef to cook differently than another.

Frankly, yes — beef jerky can give you diarrhea. But then again, most foods can give you diarrhea. It all depends on the type of beef jerky you eat, how much of it you eat and what's in it. If beef jerky's given you diarrhea, you may have eaten stale or spoiled jerky.

Improper storage of beef jerky with humidity or moisture can cause mold to grow over time. When making beef jerky at home, mold can grow if the environment or tools aren't clean and sanitized. These spores, once on the beef jerky, can grow into noticeable mold under suitable conditions.

Due to their shape and texture, shelf stable, dried and semi-dried meat, poultry, and seafood snacks (such as beef jerky or summer sausage) as well as popcorn have been added to the list of foods that are not to be served to children under the age of four.

Beef jerky is so expensive because it uses a lot of quality meat to make just a little bit of jerky, the process takes resources and employees' time, and beef jerky producers often buy from the beef industry and the price of beef can be expensive.
